Profile: Leonid Khaylov

Personal background
I\\'m from Moscow, Russia, studied for 4 semesters in MAI (Moscow University for Aerospace Technology) and currently i\\'m studying in Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. I find space science very interesting and useful that\\'s why i\\'ve joined SETI@HOME. And i hope that power of distributed computing will be used only in peaceful way in the name of science.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Finding extraterrestrial intelligence is very exciting. New technologies, new energy resources, new philosophy, new look on the birth of unvierse and answers to many questions may appear as a result of SETI@HOME project. I guess it\\'s a good purpose to join it.

SETI@HOME has a good idea in itself. With the help of distributed computing everyone can help science to find answers on many questions and as personal computers become more powerful the more chances on success has the project.
