Personal background
I am a long term member of The Planetary Society. Only recently, have aquired my own computer to participate in Seti.

Am retired Emeritus from University of Toronto, Department of Psychiatry. My PhD was in neurophysiology with a minor in artificial intelligence. My MD is from U. of Toronto and I am a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in Canada. My undergraduate years were spent in mathematics and physics, and about 1/2 of my publications are in appplied statistics.

My hobbies are working out [I was an alternate in 1960 in Rome for gymnastics], and I am a professional commodity trader [mostly indices, cotton, copper -- anything going somehwere].

I teach at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy at www.ctp.net

I am at the bar at the University of Toronto's Faculty Club signing a copy of my book, Life Between Life, Doubleday, 1986. [Also in paperback from Warner books. As of 2006, it is 30 countries in 20 languages].
