Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I believe extraterrestial life exists and humans will probably encounter them in the distant future when the technology exists allowing humans to communicate beyond what radio and light could transport. There are indeed risks in such a discovery and no one could ever predict if they are harmless to human beings. One could only guess their nature.
2. Yes. Information regarding our peaceful nature and that we mean no harm to them and that we only seek knowledge.
3. It is what I could ever give to the increased understanding of extraterrestials. The project is a splendid idea and I wish the Seti@Home team will keep up the good work.
