| I'm 46 years old with a 2 year old son and a 46 year old husband. I love movies and know little about space or space exploration. I used to enjoy "Star Trek", though I'm a bit burned out on it by now. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I do believe we'll find extraterrestrial life (if it doesn't find us first) one day, though I've no idea what form it will take or when we'll find it. I think any movie buff would say the benefits are either "E.T." or "Alien". We'll just have to take our chances. I'd love to be part of the discovery of e.l, though. That would be a great honor. I think transmitting a beacou would be a good idea as well. It should contain very basic information... location, information about our planet's atmosphere,... things of that sort. I'm running SETI@home because I believe it's a good cause. As I said, I do believe that we'll find e.l. and I believe that SETI is at least an excellent start to the attempt, if not the key. I wish more people would contribute to the project. |
