Profile: Bahnson

Personal background
My name is Niels Christian Bahnson, and I have been with this project for several years. In the old systen I processed 130 units. As I have changed my e-mail address I had not any longer access to this account.
I am a radioamateur, member of ARRL, and have been a professional too. In 1947 I worked at the harbour of Esbjerg with ships communications equipment.
1953 - 55 I was a weather telegrapher at Danmarkshavn in North East Greenland on 77 degrees north. Then followed 30 years as a teacher. From 1985 to 1990 I owned the compagny Infotronics Registered. After my retirement in 1987 I worked with humanitarian help (medicine, Hospitalequipment) in Ukraine for the organisation "Danish Help to East". From about 1996 to 2000 I studied electronics ingeneering at the Esbjerg department of Aalborg university.
I have been a reader of Scientific American since 1963.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think I would be a very fine thing for science, if we discovered extraterrestrial intelligent life.
Perhaps it would be wise to some extent focus on already discovered planetary systems outside the solar systems (of course only those where conditions do not seem forbidding for life). And if possible extend the spectrum.
