I am from St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. I work in the Information Technology Services department at Brock University here as a Systems Support person. I mainly support Macintosh desktops and servers as well as some applications servers.
In the rest of my life I enjoy computer games and riding my motorcycle.
In other words, I am a geek with a crotch rocket.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have been crunching the SETI at Home packets for several years and will keep t it as long as there is a project.
I beleive we cannot possibly be the only life. There must be something out there. I just hope that they, at some point in time, developed the ability to manipulate electromagnatism.
Food for thought:
a) what if there are a thousand speicies like us out there and we all have SETI progams; everyone is listening and no one is transmitting?
b) what if there are a thousand spiecies out there as advanced as us right now but we are all hundreds of millions of light-years from each other. |
