Personal background
Well there's not that much too say, I guess...
But hey what the heck...., I'm an ordinary guy living in the Netherlands, with my two cats. My work...yeah wel i'm one of those lucky guys who was able to create a living out of his hobby.. which is developing software.

Although there is a big difference between the programs I write for customers and those I write for myself.
That is besides the money, you get from the customers...ofcourse. (= boring assignments for the most part)
So, it's not all fun and games, but it's a living.

... Speaking about games.... I nearly forgot I'm a diehard Game-junky.
Doom, UT2k4 ,Fear etc. I love thos games.
They cost me the better part of (too) many nights...
I guess they call that obsessive behaviour...lol
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As a bo, I always wanted to visit the stars when I grew up.
Tha is probably not going to happen in my lifetime, but It's the next best way to get an answers on that one question, the question everybody has asked himself at least once. Are we alone, in this vast Universe.

I am a firm believer, that we are definately NOT alone. The mathematical probability calculations, imply that there should be billions of planets and moons who are somewhat similar to our little blue rocky world.
Life is pretty resilliant, we know that as a fact from are own planet.
It can prosper at temps of over 250 degrees Centigrade, and even far below freezing. So we are definately not the only ones.

The moon Europa (orbiting Jupiter) would be a good candidate to have life in it's giant Ocean.
Who knows maybe I'll be around long enough to get to know the Truth.

In helping SETI, an answer to my question might be given.
It would change the World, and hopefully Unite people instead of dividing.

Just my two cents
