| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| There are thousands of reasons why to contribute to SETI but for me its clear. It is very selfish to think that we are alone in this vast universe. Our religious fundamentalists would have us beleive that God created us, and us alone. I think that regardless of how we were created, there is the off chance that something else also developed conscientiousness. |
