Originally from the Silicon Valley, I moved to the Great State of Idaho to get away from too many people in one place. I'm 33 and I work as a Test Engineer. Basically, I sit in front of a computer all day and design control software for other equipment.
So I don't go insane, I get outdoors as much as I can and help the Fish and Game Department inventory the denizens of the local rivers and lakes. They may be lower life forms, but they can be tricky at times. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

As Far as discovering ET's go, I don't think we'll find anything. But the data we are getting gives us interesting things to look at in the universe. I run SETI because this project is worth it just in what we have learned in distributed systems, and data processing. It's a very good model for future developments. Even if we don't find ET per se, what we have learned in implementing this project has been worth the effort.
