Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I ran about 5 000 units on 2 computers (one at home, the other at the office), intermitently between 2000 and 2004, and I was glad to offer this small contribution to the progress of science. I always thought that it was important to find other life in the Universe, not so much in order to find a race of "saviours", but for a scientific and philosophic purpose. I sincerely and ardently wish that SETI succeed some day in this endeavour, and if not, in another : I have been away from SETI for over a year now but I see that in my absence some new projects have come up, and I surely would like to do my share whenever possible.

I have nothing to suggest for now, but I trust that ideas will come in their time.
