Personal background |
Hi my name is Lee Warren aged 15, I’m from Leicester in the UK (The home of the National Space Centre, and the future home of the Near Earth Object Centre)
I have been interested in space all my life but only in the last two years or so I have been finding and doing stuff connected to space, like getting magazines, books, videos, airfix models, getting 4 E-Mails
a-day with the latest news from different web sites.
I got my first Telescope In October 2000, it was only £80 and not very good so in November 2001 I got a Meade ETX-70A a goto scope and its fab.
I would like to do something in the area of space as a career but not to sure what area of it (there’s so many!)
I was lucky to do my work experience at the National Space Centre (Home of Final Frontier BBC2), it was only a week but worth it, I did not do my work experience the same time as every one else because I did not like the place that they gave me so I wrote to the NSC two or three times and finally I got in.
The more I learn about space the more I like it; it has made me look at the world differently, now that I know what’s over the horizon and past the clouds!
