| I live in Burbank, CA. I'm one of those crazy people who are trying to make it in life as a film actor. My major hobbies include singing, astronomy, medieval studies, coin collecting, and philosophy. My degree background is in Literature (B. A. from Taylor University, M. A. from Ball State University), though my original major in college was Astrophysics. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I like to think extraterrestrial life exists. I cannot say when humans will discover it, or if it will first discover us; however, I firmly believe that, if we are to discover it, we need to begin to explore the stars.
We certainly should do everything in our power in the meantime to attract the attention of others "out there," and so should send beacons identifying ourselves in multiple languages (maybe utilize ASCII as a mathematical language?)
I run SETI@home to do what little I can in this search. I have been excited from the first, and continue to be excited about being a part of it. |
