Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. ETI exists, but we may not recognize when we see it....we're rather narrow-minded in my opinion. ET may have to step up to us and slap us in the face before we notice. Danger is the Universe's middle name, we'll survive......or not.

2. We are already transmitting, why bother with another message, it'll just get lost in the existant noise....? And who says that our babbling would make much sense to another sentient species anyway? We can be so arrogant in our homo sapient-centricity, we think everybody will understand our clever little note, right?

3. I run SETI@home to give my layabout computers something to do while I'm not abusing them.... I think the project is a step in the right direction and a novel approach to the problem of processing vast amounts of data in a relatively short time.....

Enough about me, tell me about you....
