| I was born in Ukiah, California. I graduated from Ukiah High School and joined the Marine Corps in 1967. I retired as a CWO-5 in 1997 after serving in PMA-260 at NAVAIR. I currently live in Selma, Oregon with my wife and am a school bus driver. We toured the country for a year in an RV prior to settling in Oregon. After another year I decided I needed something to do and figured that school bus driving would be fun. It is, most of the time. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I ran SETI@home back in about 1996 or so. I just recently decided to do it again when I saw something about it on the news. No particular reason.
Two suggestions: It should be easier for computer dummies like me to find basic information about how SETI works and what our computer does to help. Also, I don't really like the 3D graphic that BOINC uses on their manager. |
