I think seti@home is a fantastic way for us all to play our part in the search for extra terrestrial activity for the comfort of our own home without having to dedicate too much time and effort to a subject of huge interest.
I'm relatively new to the project and am still fairly ignorant of the terms used (spikes etc), but it is proving an education for me!!
I am an optomistic cynic! In as much that i find it hard to beleive that we are the only ones out there but cannot quite comprehend the thought of extra terrestrials?
