Personal background
Well... I'd like to say I'm from somewhere interesting like Mars but alas no, I'm from the UK.. York to be precise. not really a hotspot for alien visitors unless they want a snapshot of York Minster for their Albums.
I'm into 50's rock'n'roll and Anything extra tarestrial or paranormal. Kinda like myself..hehe
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think in all probability that Alien life has to exist somewhere be it near or far. If aliens did come to earth or are already here I think they might be a little disapointed with all the wars and killing that seems to happen all over the planet. Humans seem to be far too greedy and want power and wealth is what they will be telling their relatives who are wondering how the trip to earth is going.. They dont seem to do things to Better themselves and the rest of humanity is what the children of this alien culture will be writing in their schoolbooks.....
I think it is inevitable that we transmit a beacon so others will find it, i mean radiowaves have been leaving earth for an awfull long time so we have been broadcasting our existance for quite some time..
I hope one day Seti will find or even talk to another species of sentient life as it will make humans realise there is much more to life then only our tiny little planet in our tiny little solar system in our tiny place in the vastness of space.
