Hi, I am 53 years old. Born in the Netherlands, spent 20 years in South Africa, but am now residing in the UK. My hobbies are Amateur Radio, and Computing.Have had an interest in astronomy since the age of about 5. Have always been convinced we are not alone in the universe. I was brought up in a religious way, but even reading the Bible you find references to mysterious happenings like, the "Spaceships of Ezekiel", The prophet Enoch being taken in a "fiery chariot", and shown seven different worlds among the stars. Only egocentric "flat-earthers", still stubbornly hold onto the belief that we're alone in the universe!
Lastly to put the cat amongst the pigeons: I am totally opposed to the totalitarian Smoking Ban, on the grounds that it erodes Civil Liberties! |
