| I am a 49 year old retired SSG, US Army. Served in various units, field and Hospital. Did two tours in Germany, (Landstuhl and Frankfurt), as a 91D. Loved Germany, espically the BEER. Married with two lovely daughters who will be graduating from High School in a few years. Presently working here in Florida as a Certified Surgical Technician. Have been doing this for 30 years. I enjoy reading, fishing, golfing, internet surfing, and sleep. Also chasing the bikini\\'s here is fun. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

This project is probably one of the most important search programs that is in existance, except for maybe the search for objects which may intersect the earths orbit, like comets, asteriods, etc., etc. Governments should be supporting this wholely but the short sightedness of the goverment money holders percludes this, so it is volunteers like ourselves which will prevail.
I run it because someone has to, we should be trying to find other life, not hide from it. Unfortunately, man in his arragance assumes that we are all that is it, and it takes an enlightened few, (ourselves included), to bypass this prejudice and take up the cause. |
