| I've been online since 1995, I've seen SETI@home way back, but for 10 years I only had a painfully slow connection of 28.8-56kbps [dial-up] to the Internet, now that I have a personal broadband connection with lots of bandwidth and computer time to spare, I said to myself, "Why Not?!". SETI@home is a novel project that lets us ordinary people, to participate in the scientific search for someone else out there, I've been itching to be part of it since its conception, and I'm proud that in my own little way, I'm helping to answer the question, "Are We Alone?". |
