Profile: Ron Andrade

Personal background
My name is Ron and I have been contributing computer time to SETI@Home since 2005. I live in a small town in southeastern Massacusetts in the USA.

I am 60 years old and I am currently working for a corporation that specializes in environmental monitoring instruments. My position as a technician provides me the opportunity to repair units that have been returned from the field for either routine calibrations or a combination of repairs and calibrations as they are required.

I enjoy reading, photography, stamp collecting and motorcycles. In addition to this project, i also contribute computer time to Einstein@Home, which i feel is another improtant and worthwhile project. I became a part of the endeavor in 2011.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel this project is an important and worthwhile effort and is indicative of mankind's quest to unravel the mysteries of the world and universe around us.
