Hey
Im 16, from the UK. I found out about SETI after finding it on the guiness book of the records site, apparently it is the largest computation ever.
My Pc is a Athlon64bit 3200+ with 1gig of ddr3200 sdRAM. This is normally used for gaming, but also spends a lot of time downloading things. So now in addition to downloading, it also computes for SETI, and also proteinprodicterathome.
Its nice to think im doing something for the common good that requires no effort whatsoever :). |
