Profile: Grant Hodge

Personal background
My name is Grant
I'm from the state of Washington now live in Arizona since 1984 and have been into Astronomy and photography sinse 1955. I am a ripe old man in this year of 2010 and still kicking. Retired from Motorola where I ran an Ion implanter until 1986.
Have a couple of dogs and do a lot of walking. I have over 5000 units of Classic done and finally got going on Boink and as of April 03 2010 I have over 180,000 of those. My computer is about as fast as they come, 3.2 ghz and I whiped out one of those units of Classic in about 3 to 4 hours. Don't miss doing the old slow classic.
BOINC goes a lot faster, I do an average of over 1100 a day. I do a lot of photography now using a digital camera and the computer. Used to have a color darkroom with enlarger and all. This modern age makes it a lot easier.
Hope I am instramental in finding,"THEM".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1)I would hope to be instramental in finding the alien who will save the world from itself. If he, she, or it turns out to be of the other persuasion, then put me out of our misery.
2)Good idea and if you come up with some other way of contacting them let us know
3)Let our, so called Government, know we aren't afraid to confront the idea of not being alone in all this space.
