Personal background
Actually I'm not deeply into the alien stuff, cause I believe more in humanity, our race. I love everything about our universe, and who created that space of different colors and adventure. I really support SETI@home not because I want so badly to have an encounter with an alien, and less to have more people living in this world with all this crime. Our world was created just for us, to do what we have to do. We have first to learn on how to love each other inside our world and then we can continue outside the planet.

Is not that I don't like the idea of finding life in another planet(s), I'm just concerned about things that I don't know how they would work or how they can turn, but in the other side it would be very interesting to learn about people from another planet "if they really exist".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@home, because I like comunications and SETI is an odd way to comunicate outside our world. No matter what they hear, it'll be interesting. They might heard some events happening every day with comets, stars or any other special events.

2. The project looks like is going well, thats why is always up. I believe that is a great tool to communicate inside and outside earth.

3. My suggestion would be to create teams of 10 - 15 people per group using this program and grant access to visit any of the SETI communication center for a decent discount and learn from each other at the same time educating ourselves about SETI and all the great discoveries. The usage of the internet access in our computers is not cheap either, so the discount will help us to mantain easily your plans, :-).
