Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because from an early age I had an interest in astronomy, although this did not carry on into adulthood. Too busy with work, family etc.

I believe that it would be arrogant to think that we are the only intelligent lifeforms in the Universe and that one day we may make contact. Although because of the vast distances involved the time delay would be a factor as to whether or not any contact could be put to good use.
