I am 40 years of age and married to a wonderful woman named Amanda. We live in a small town called King Williams Town on the east coast of South Africa, near to a city called East London. The provincial political capital where I work is called Bhisho and is about 7 kms up the road from my home.
I am a server and network administrator responsible for one of the South African provincial government's Microsoft networks. I have been involved in the computer industry for about 25 years and still love every bit of what I do.
I am an avid amateur astronomer, flight simulator enthusiast, and I participate in target archery when the opportunity arises.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have been participating in the SETI@Home project off and on for many years as circumstance has allowed. I thoroughly enjoy participating in what may one day become one of man's most important projects. I have never been conceited enough to think that we are the only intelligent beings in this vast universe we live in, and no matter how slim the chance, I would love to be involved in proving that assumption.
