Profile: John Hannon

Personal background
Hi, I`m Vega,

I live in the North East of England in a small town next to the River Tyne.

I`m 54 years (young).

Hobbies? that`s easy, surfing the world-wide-net.

I spend 99% of my time on the `NASA` website. Because I have always found `SPACE` fascinating. There are so many questions, and mankind is only beginning to scratch the surface of a giant space volume.

Is there life out there? It would be ignorant of us to think that we are unique...

It may take another month, another year or a millenia. But I do believe that mankind WILL find out one way or another.

If we are all alone in this vast cosmos. Then `THAT`S A BIG WASTE OF SPACE.`

I find myself - many times - sitting in a field well away from light pollution of the big cities, simply staring at the night sky, sometimes for hours on end, just wondering, just thinking------ "What if".

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The moon is the first milestone on the road to the stars.

 Arthur C. Clarke

Many, many, many galaxies from our own, there may be intelligence life staring towards the billions of stars and galaxies.
Wondering, as we wonder..................`Are we alone?`
