Personal background
I’ve pursued the integration of a research discipline with a highly applicative approach for the development of advanced information systems. My research has been in Artificial intelligence, with emphasis in Machine Learning techniques and my experience in development includes the use of Object Oriented Software Engineering techniques devoted, in the present, towards the deployment of web based applications. My knowledge and abilities are the result of a life-long self-study effort, interlaced with special courses and research initiatives conducted with peers. I have 32 published papers, 15 thesis advised and extensive software development and management experience.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that is more probable that extraterrestrial life contact us before we'll have the technology to discover it. I see SETI as an effort to expand our universal mind.

I am very pleased to be part of this human effort.
