Hell everyone,
I am 25 years old and i work as one of 700 Information Technology Specialists (IT) in the United States Coast Guard. I am far from brilliant and am pretty much your average guy. I am an avid supporter of programs like SETI and feel it of great importance to seek life else wear as well as new worlds where we may one day need to travel. (We are multiplying like rabbits now) Well thats really all you need to know.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I believe it is completely ignorant of us to assume we are the only living intelligent beings in this massive universe. I also believe that finding other intelligence out there may one day be the key to our survival.
2. I think the project is a great one and they are on the right track. Using millions of computers across the world to assist in analyzing all the data received is just an absolutely brilliant idea.
