Yes, I think they're out there. either they'll land and make themselves known to the public as a whole, or we'll one day in space travel make contact with them
I don't think they'll be hostile, they would have destroyed us by now.
Humans should transmit, but we should send messages of hello, come and talk with us. let's share our opinions on life, and society of both worlds.
We can't make ourselves a threat to them.
