I was born in the East End of London in 1947 so very please to see that London has the 2012 Olympics. I was a fireman in Ilford, and bethnal Green and trained at Stratford.
I now live in a rural part of the North West of England where i am a Genealogist researching peoples family history with roots in Lancashire.
I'm divorced but getting married on September 10th.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel that somewhere out there there must be some form of life. The trouble is that "Out There" is so vast that the more people that can be involved in the search for others the better.
Not certain what my reactions would be if we ever found other forms of life I suppose because I/we can't really imagine what form they are likely to take. They may look like us but who knows? We could well look aggresive or very scary to them which could promote hostilities but again who knows?
But it would be really wonderful that if in the near future we did find other life forms. It would also be nice to be the person to discover that life.
