Hi Folks,
Here's my alterego Rc Islandlake from Finland. For some, who knows me, I am Arsi Saarijärvi (Finnish name). I was born in Terra planet (on the Sun system of Milkyway Galaxy) near polar circuit.. Finland, Keuruu in 1974.. That's sad but true.. I am so old now..
In the picture, I look a bit like an alien.. or Is it that I am too ugly to picture to be formed properly. Who knows ?
I am interested generally in Science, Arts, Music and computers. I have been interested most in what happens in Science regarding Space and Universe.
Also history/genealogy and biology interests me.
I work with computers for my salary but I also like to take part in other projects outside work.
Latest interest what I have is in photographing. I have bad equipment and even worse skills, but I like It anyway.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I search for relatives.. Seriously.. I want to take part for the biggest project of mankind.. Contacting exoworlds. If I can help or participate with sharing CPUtime, I can feel very lucky and honoured of such easyway of helping reseachers.
2. I have run times to times this SETI@home project and for some time taken It away.. Maybe because there has not been not great news. But when sensors get better and we find keys to open secret messages, we may enter to really new kind of technology of travelling in Space... maybe.. This project certainly is not someting not to be mentioned but should be number one in Science projects..
3. I believe that different intelligent worlds send different type of messages with different metodes. SETI should start to think new kind of projects to gather information or collect data. Maybe the light is something we still miss.. Stars send eternal light and maybe there is messages coming among the light.. Who knows ? There are projects in computersciencs to make computers smaller and the light is very important factor there.. So why not in galactic scale also.. What else could be found ? Radiomessages certainly cannot be the only way exoworlds to get contact.
