I am a student studying in computer science and astronomy. I fix workstations and servers for a living. I have been using different distributions of Linux ever since 2003. In the future I plan to develop software (and maybe hardware) to advance automated celestial surveys. They do work good nowadays, but they could use a little help. I also like helping people with pretty much anything. I believe the world is a beautiful place and it would be nice if we kept it that way.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I hope there is something else out there. This project is one of the many good ways that we could potentially find other life forms in the universe.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
