Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
Because I want us to find life on other planets.

2. What are your views about the project?
I think it's great. I love that the project is helping us move forward in this exciting area.

3. Any suggestions?
Can we be more aggressive?
Can we make faster progress somehow?
Can we go about things more intelligently in order to make faster progress?
What kinds of signals are we looking for? Are they the right kind of signals?
What would we do in order to send a signal out to outer space? Maybe we are already doing something?
Would intelligent species send out a beacon? Or do we expect/hope to pick up their daily life signals (their tv, their radio, etc). Maybe we should be sending something really simple, like morse code or smoke signals with light or raido waves, or...
Maybe that's what we should be looking for. Are we?
