| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think extraterrestrial life exists however it is hard to discover it. Most people believe that there is only ONE another civilization, but I think there is a bit more - Universe is big enough. I'm also not sure that these civilization are at higher technology level than us - probably some are at higher, but some are at lower. However, I think that chances to communicate with other civilization are very low. Even if we found interesting signal we'll be able to do nothing. What we cand do? Send them reply? How? Anyway, I thing it's better to know if they exists than no, so i participate in project. |
