Hi fellow members of this elite club, I have been pondering the universe for over 40 years. I have been in telecommunications for 34 of those years. With all this technology and Millions of participants, we will find something. Don\\'t know what, but we\\'ll find it. However, will we know what to do with it, once we\\'ve got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took that picture of a 40M dish at Madley Earth Station, Herefordshire, UK while I was working there in April 2005. I am currently one of the 24/7 Duty Managers for Ericsson Local Support based in Guildford, Surrey.

| Wouldn\\'t it be wonderful, for someone on this site, to make first true contact. I say true, because I believe we\\'ve already had visitors, but there \\"appears\\" to be no documented proof. If nothing else this is a wonderful concept and a very worthwhile hobby. Its also brought millions of people closer together, from all over the world. Perhaps the rest of the planet could learn something. This is one hell of a team building event. |
