I am Radioamateur from nine years old. from that time I was operating with my father Alvaro Gomez Orduz, Radio Telegraphist licensed first class like HK3ATA past time. Now He is retired but I have it altruist Hobby. I am member of American Radio Relay League, and Colombian Radio Amateur League, & I Love to do good radio broadcasting. My first years at radio activities I built my own first transmiter, but now with technology, it has lost. I am Technician in Maintenance of Heavy Equipment for Mining from The Cerrejon North Zone Coal Mining (placed at the middle of La Guajira) & Technologist in Electronics. Now I work like Head of Electrical & Electronics Labs. at La Salle University on Bogota D.C. Col.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have affective tie with Seti (Phoenix) Proyect placed at Arecibo, because at 9 years old, begining at radio amateur activities, I did my first QSO DX Contact with a employee building the antenna for Phoenix Proyect at Puerto Rico.
It is a big and grate remember for me.
