I friend of mine told me about seti on september 2000. I mainly used it with graphic client under win98 until I found out that command line version was more powerful.
Now I have three computers calculating workunits. Computers are in use 24/7 and I hate idle computers so running seti gives me some kind of weird pleasure...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It's maybe the best idea what ever has happened. Why don't people use their computers to do something when their computers don't have anything else to do... It's another thing if there's anything that this project finds out, but mainly I like it because it's non commercial.
