I am from Arkansas, just about the best state in the United States and I am a retired Systems Analyst.
I read, a LOT, and sit in front of six PC's most of the time working on one project or another or doing research into whatever has caught my attention lately. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

A really long time ago I was outside after sundown and happened to look up, rural Arkansas in the 1950's was pretty much free of background light and what I saw was more stars than I could count and endless possibility.
SETI is something that I believe in with all my heart, it is inconceivable that we are alone in the galaxy.
Even as a child I knew that I would never get the chance to travel to another star, the technology was simply too far away and it wasn't going to be possible in my lifetime.
That's OK, I knew how to dream. |
