My name is Salar. I am 20 years old and live in Toronto, Canada. I joined SETI under my high School teachers’ recommendation. While doing work in my Computer Engineering class my classmates started talking about ET life and my teacher started discussing the SETI program. So I got interested and joined in. Been an on/off member since '99 and am very happy to contribute to it. I love computers, in fact I have my own computer business (tech support, repair, etc.) and love music (play 7 different instruments). I also have 5 different jobs. I guess I keep myself occupied, :-).
There is more about me but I just don't like to type a lot.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI because I truly believe that there is life outside of our planet. I am also sure that in another planet there are other forms of life doing the same thing to find life. So if, and when we cross paths we will change everything. People talk about doing something about finding ET but they are just talk. This project is at least a step towards a right direction. Hope many more will join to compute faster and get faster results for the ultimate goal. |
