Personal background
First heard about SETI@home from a friend of mine in the 3rd grade, who was running it on a celeron@200mhz. When i first started i had SETI@home running on a 1.6P4. Then I heard about boinc and upgraded to that.

Originally I had SETI running on 5 computers.
2 1.6P4's. 3 PII/PIII/Xeon (400-500-450mhz). And my main rig was a 3.2 P4 with 1mb of cache.

Currently I'm running SETI on an AMD x6 system, an Intel Q6600 and an old AMD 4000+.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I love running SETI at home. Its fun to talk about trying to convince the school board to let me run SETI on some of the school computers. No spare CPU cycle shall go wasted!
