Hey all. I'm an IT consultant in London, with a laptop too weedy to run decent development apps, and too powerful to waste on Word, so I thought I'd start doing SETI again. Joined in 2001, but haven't done anything with it for about 18 months, so I have some catchup to do.
I'm newly married to an awesome hot Californian from Santa Cruz, which isn't a bad thing for a flabby pale Englishman like me. No kids yet, but probably not far away.
I'll add more if I think of anything! |

Is there anyone out there? All those nay-sayers who think this is a waste of time, well, it may be, but if you don't look, you don't find. Right?
Anyway, I first started running SETI because I thought the screensaver was better than Microsoft's! Since then I've been hooked, although I haven't run it for the last 18months.
What ever happened to all the "you are ranked 387,000th out of 6.2M" rankings we used to get? I enjoyed trying to eke up another notch on the ratings. |
