Hi my name is Nick, and I am from Townsville, North Queensland Australia. I am a recent graduate of James Cook University, B.Business and B.Info Tech. I will be going back in '06 to do Honours, and then hopefully, PHD. New Endogenous Economic Growth Theory tickles my fancy at the moment.
I enjoy discussions of politics and Philosophy, and quite often take time for reflection of the bigger picture, the world and universe etc. I have undertaken a path, (or a quest if you will) of life long learning, and quite often I like to quote Sir Isaac Newton: "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
I enjoy learning about other languages, and Latin is on the agenda at the moment. For those of you who like a glass of Chardonnay on a Sunday afternoon, and require some extra mental stimulation, or just want to plainly brush-up on their Latin skills: "Nisi cogitatio a ego, exinde abdico cogitatio!" |
