I guess I always wanted to be a scientist but lacked the opportunities, so I think that running the Boinc projects are the next best thing.
I jumped on SETI@home pretty much around the start, May 1999. The thought of a single wasted CPU second irkes me, so much so I am almost a distributed computing evangelist sometimes. |
