Hi, I am a 20 year old Biotechnology student at the University of Windsor in Canada. My hobbies are spending ours watching startrek or some kinda of space films. I was born in Sri Lanka where internet download rates are at a high if you an get a 1.8 k/sec and my whole youth consisted of me checking out new nasa projects and other space related articles. Can you say "nerd".....

I believe that extraterrestrials do exist, I mean, why would earth be the only planet capable of sustaining life. The universe is a huge expanse and the probabilty of humans being the only ones in the universe is pretty slim. All those sightings, the Roswell crash and all the other stories must have some sort of of truth in it. The human race should build a beacon with information on humans and method of giving whoever is on the recieving end a way of communicating.
I run SETI@home becasue I want to be able say that aliens really do exist in my life time. Technology is reaching a state in which people are already capable of living in space for long durations of time. the ISS space station is already complete.... "We are progressing towards the stars." |
