Personal background
Age 20 atm. Taking major in computer science at Chalmers university of Technology in Sweden, currently tired at studiying so i took a brake. Likes reading about science and technology and thus i signed up for SETI@Home. and my computer standing there doing nothing all day kinda buggered me. heh.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: to get higher stats than my friends and to help my group. I personally think the chance of finding an extreterrestrial signal is close to zero, but the opportunity to actually finding one is also a big reason for me being here.

2: Very good idea, I and most people feel that they are part of something larger, that they are acutally helping out... which I am sure you already know... so i know not why I am writing this, except I am extremely bored, which might explain why i spent 10minutes looking at the graphics in BOINC. BOINC btw is a great upgrade, i used the commandprompt thingy before since i want the program to run all the time and not just when i am not at the computer. This is becouse i am actually mostly at my computer. Eh, back to BOINC.. it works really nice, taking care of itself sitting there in the corner. If someone by accident actually read all this... sorry for wasting your time... heh...

3: not at this moment, no
