I run SETI@home because I think that it is important to answer The Question.
I hope the project is barking up the right tree, from a technical standpoint. I hope we're fishing where the fish are, if indeed there are any fish.
My only suggestions are that we find something soon, in the perhaps naive hope that it will turn our collective intelligence away from the task of trying to blow each other up.
