Personal background
Hi,

I'm "Soquili" (Sow-kwee-lee), which is the Cherokee word for "Horse. My actual Name is Ed Littlefox, and I am American Indian, Eastern Cherokee, Wild Potato Clan. I am an Equine Professional and Horse Clinician, meaning that I teach other People about Horses and Equine Behavior. I breed and raise Morgan, Morab, and Appaloosa Horses on a 200-acre facility in Davidson County, NC. I am 57 years old.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been with the old SETI Project for about 2 and half years, now. I got interested in the SETI project for several reasons, none of which is that I want to "win". I am intensely interested in the advancements and advancements to science that combined Computer projects like SETI can achieve. Like Carl Sagan, I absolutely believe that we are not alone in the Universe, and that Life isn't a random roll of the dice. Another is that, in my work as a Clinician, I teach People how to communicate with Horses---no, not the animal psychic woo-woo stuff--but the Language of Movement and Gesture that is called Equus. So, you could say that I teach Inter-species Communications. That may just come in handy if we find ET--or he finds US!? A Third reason is that it is just a cool thing to have your Home PC do when you are not using it, as it helps to advance the Human Cause and the Human Race by providing new knowledge.

All in all-- I'm happy to be a part of the experiment.

Tohi--(Peace)
Ed Littlefox, aka Soquili
