I have got several hobbies, including, local politics (VVD), ICT, Movies, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and roleplaying (Dungeons & Dragons). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because I am convinced that our planet isn't the only one with (a technological advanced) life. So I hope by joining this project I contribute something to the community that thinks the same.
Furthermore these kinds of projects tell IMHO that the (open source) community can be as powerful, be it in raw computing capacity or inventivity, as large multinational companies. |
