Personal background
Hello, I'm a 46 year old homemaker, happily married for 15 years. I have no children, (but not by choice, it just wasn't God's plan for me). My hobbies are drawing and sketching, as well as working on pottery. I love to watch television programs about the sciences. Whether it be about the cosmos, anthropology, evolution, genetics or whatever. I also enjoy watching science fiction and sit-coms. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, who makes me laugh with his humor.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I beleive extraterrestrial life exits. The universe is so vast and the earth is but a grain of sand compared to it. I think it is silly to think we are the only life in such a vast place. Life out there in the cosmos MAY not be as we expect it. We can't limit the powers of our Creator, for I think He is limitless and our knowledge is limited, but will continue to grow. Humans may stumble across the existence of extraterrestrial life with the knowledge we now have (I wouldn't be doing Seti@home If I didn't think so), but it may happen when the extraterrestrials feel we are ready, they already know we are here. I'm a firm believer that great strides will happen in science when spirituality and science come together. Inner knowledge and spirituality (not just earthly facts) must expand before outer knowledge can grow, they come hand in hand.
