Profile: The Dixie Flatline

Personal background
West Palm Beach, Florida attorney, having finally given up on the prospect of intelligent life on this planet, gives himself over to the search for it elsewhere.

Name's Christopher Chopin, by the way. Just happen to be a big McCoy Pauley fan. And who wouldn't be. Now that's dedication.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think its arrogant to assume this entire universe is wasted space except for the tiny speck we inhabit. But its still dangerous to believe either way without proof.

Humans should send out beacons. Personally I think the Voyager info needs some serious updating. After all, maybe the greys really wanted a gold-coated CD, and just looked at Sagan's vinyl in confusion.

I run Seti@home because its a way to advance the search for knowledge without doing anything at all. I'm big on lazy.
